Consultations in English and French · Dry Needling · Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) — all three Sydney clinics

Max Bellaiche is a Sydney osteopath with a genuine passion for understanding why the body moves and feels the way it does and for helping patients make sense of their pain. His approach combines thorough evidence-informed assessment with skilled hands-on treatment, aimed at identifying the musculoskeletal factors contributing to your condition rather than simply managing symptoms in isolation.
Max has a particular interest in managing chronic postural strain, cervicogenic headaches, and persistent back pain, as well as the full range of musculoskeletal conditions that affect people across all stages of life.

Holding a Master of Osteopathy, a Bachelor of Clinical Science (Osteopathy), and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology, seven years of university training in total, Max brings a depth of physiological understanding that informs every aspect of his clinical reasoning. In practice, this means he approaches pain not just as a mechanical problem but as a physiological one: exploring what is happening in the tissues, the nervous system, and the broader movement patterns that may be contributing to your experience of discomfort.

In addition to osteopathic manual therapy, Max offers dry needling and shockwave therapy (ESWT) at all three of his Sydney clinics. These additional modalities allow for a more comprehensive, integrated approach to musculoskeletal assessment and management — particularly for patients with persistent tendon conditions, myofascial pain, or complex soft tissue presentations.

Outside of the clinic, Max is an active surfer, swimmer, and climber, pursuits that give him a firsthand appreciation of the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of intelligent, balanced movement. He draws on this understanding when working with patients who are active, athletic, or working to return to sport and movement after injury.

Born and raised in Bondi Beach and educated at the International French School of Sydney, Max brings a genuine connection to the Sydney community and to the French-speaking expatriate community across the city. He offers full consultations in French at all three clinic locations.
